Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Project Manager for Ireland and Europe to lead equipment‑delivery projects in the data‑centre and power‑infrastructure sector. Based in Dublin with hybrid/flexible working, you will oversee transformers, MV/LV switchgear and related systems, coordinating with subcontractors and OEM partners from order through final account.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering construction, engineering, MEP, industrial or data‑centre projects.
  • Strong subcontractor management and multi‑package coordination.
  • Commercially disciplined: budgets, variations, invoicing, subcontractor applications.
  • Background in mechanical, civil or electrical project management (no trades background required).
  • Experience with switchgear or transformers beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Project delivery across procurement, logistics, installation, commissioning and close‑out
  • Programme management — milestones, delays, reporting, action tracking
  • Subcontractor coordination — electrical install, cranage, rigging, civils and commissioning
  • Commercial control — budgets, cost tracking, variations, invoicing
  • Manage equipment deliveries, site access and interfaces with main contractors
  • Maintain project documentation, RAMS, trackers and progress reports
  • Build strong customer relationships and provide clear reporting to management

Project Manager – Ireland & Europe (Electrical Infrastructure / Major Equipment Delivery)

Location: Dublin (Hybrid / Flexible)

A growing specialist contractor in the data‑centre and power‑infrastructure sector is seeking a Project Manager to oversee equipment‑delivery projects across Ireland and wider Europe. The business supplies and installs major electrical equipment — including transformers, MV/LV switchgear and associated systems — and delivers projects using specialist subcontractors and OEM partners.

This role suits a commercially minded Project Manager who is confident managing subcontractors, programmes and cost control. You will be the primary on‑the‑ground lead in Dublin, supported by a strong back‑office engineering team, with full autonomy to run projects from order through to final account.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project delivery across procurement, logistics, installation, commissioning and close‑out

Candidate Profile

  • Comfortable working independently with support from a remote engineering team
  • Able to travel across Ireland and Europe when required
