Job summary

Building Staff Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager for Dublin to lead and manage key mechanical contractor projects from start to finish. You will be the central point of contact across departments to ensure projects run smoothly and on schedule.

There is strong progression on offer as the business grows, with responsibilities spanning planning, budgeting, risk mitigation and stakeholder communication in a dynamic engineering environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in engineering or construction.
  • Experience managing scope, time, cost and resources.
  • Experience with risk management and QA in construction/engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or a PM certification.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient with project management software.
  • Valid full clean Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop full project plans, covering timelines, resources, deliverables and budget.
  • Manage project scope, change requests and delivery against milestones.
  • Own the project budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient use of resources.
  • Allocate manpower, equipment and materials, and secure technical and engineering resources with department leads.
  • Work with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams to keep projects on track.
  • Lead regular project and coordination meetings, keeping internal and external stakeholders aligned.
  • Identify project risks early and develop mitigation plans, escalating critical issues to the Site Manager.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and safety regulations, carrying out regular audits.
  • Prepare and present project reports, and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Coach and support junior team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Our client is a growing Irish-owned mechanical contractor delivering HVAC, plumbing and building services across commercial projects, working with a number of leading brands in the sector. They are looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage key projects end to end, acting as the central point of contact across departments to keep projects running smoothly. Requirements

  • Strong leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Full clean Irish driving licence
