Job summary

Global Professional Consultants Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a Data Centre project in Belgium. This role offers exciting career progression opportunities and excellent support.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, over 5 years of experience, and ideally knowledge of Data Centre projects. A competitive salary of €100,000 to €110,000 along with a full benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Engineer, or Project Manager.
• Experience with M&E contractors in Ireland or the UK.
• Knowledge of Data Centre projects is advantageous.

• Manage all Electrical Systems for the Data Centre project.
• Ensure compliance with programme, materials, quality, and safety.
• Drive a large team to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Job description

Electrical Project Manager

Required for a well-established multi-disciplinary contractor for a Data Centre project in Belgium. The successful candidate will be provided excellent support and career progression opportunities.

Duties

• Management of all Electrical Systems for the project.
• Management of Electrical QAQC in line with the project QA Manager.
• Management of design consultants and electrical contractors.
• Programming, planning, coordinating and reporting of all electrical activities relating to the package.
• Ensure compliance with programme, materials, quality and safety issues.
• To manage and drive a large team to meet all project requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Ensure project profitability.
• Tracking the project progress.

Requirements

• Degree Electrical Engineering or relevant trade background required.
• 5 years+ experience as an Electrical Supervisor/Engineer/Project Manager.
• Must have worked with an M&E Contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Must have good commercial awareness and be a client‑facing individual.
• Experience working on Data Centre projects would be advantageous.
