Job summary

QCS Staffing in Dublin seeks a Project Manager for a Dublin-based life sciences programme, initially a 12-month contract, overseeing safety, financials, schedule and scope across major facility development.

You will lead a diverse engineering team, ensure compliance with good engineering practices and regulatory codes, and coordinate with Global Engineering, Global EHS and Global Procurement to align deliverables and stage-gate milestones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Automation/Process Engineering; pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
• Extensive project management experience across full project lifecycle.
• Ability to manage diverse engineering teams/contractors to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget projects.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for meeting key project deliverables across safety, financial, scheduling and scope management.
• Ensure projects comply with engineering practices, policies, regulations and codes.
• Coordinate with Global Engineering/Global EHS/Global Procurement to align support for project deliverables.

• Liaise with Global Engineering/Global EHS/Global Procurement to ensure all are aligned and support project deliverables.
• Accountable for strict adherence to project stage-gate principles for managing the life-cycle of projects.

What you’ll need

• A degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Automation/Process Engineering with relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Extensive project management experience across the project life cycle within a pharmaceutical environment.
• Demonstrable experience of managing a diverse team of engineering professionals/contractors etc. to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Solid background of planning and managing engineering projects with a demonstrated record of on time performance.
