Job summary

QCS Staffing seeks a Project Engineer for an initial 24-month contract in Dublin, Ireland, within the life sciences sector. The role focuses on qualification of laboratory equipment and execution of qualification protocols.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aseptic/sterile processing design, hands-on IOQ/URS experience, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with laboratory equipment qualification and IOQ/URS processes.
• Experience in writing URS, risk assessment, IOQ protocols and execution of Qualification Protocols.
• Background in aseptic/sterile processing design/start-up environments and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute laboratory equipment qualification activities.
• Prepare and review URS, risk assessments, and IOQ protocols.
• Execute Qualification Protocols with precise documentation.
• Apply CSV knowledge to ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Our client is a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation, specialising in the development and manufacture of cutting-edge drugs. As they continue to grow, they’re seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support their dynamic team and drive forward groundbreaking projects in Dublin.

What You’ll Deliver

• Extensive experience in laboratory equipment qualification
• Experience in writing URS, risk assessment, IOQ protocol
• Execution of Qualification Protocol
• Knowledge of CSV is a plus

What you’ll need

• Minimum qualification B.Sc. or M.Sc./ M.Eng Degree in Engineering.
• Mechanical Engineering / Process Mechanical demonstrated experience.
• Extensive post academic engineering experience in relevant aseptic/sterile processing design and start-up environment.
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player
• Excellent communication/presentation/organisational skills
