Job summary

Hyper Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Waterford is seeking an Equipment Project Engineer - Automation for a leading pharmaceutical company on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on delivering multiphase automation and equipment upgrade projects within a GMP environment, including Lyophilisation, CIP, PMS, Autoclave and control systems.

You will coordinate with OEMs, ITS, Automation, Validation and Quality teams to ensure compliant, timely execution; lead FAT/SAT, manage scheduling and budgeting,

Qualifications

  • A Degree or higher level in engineering or a related technical field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Engineering, Automation, Controls).
  • Proven 5+ years of automation and equipment project delivery within pharma/biotech GMP environments.
  • Strong experience in OEM coordination, CQV activities, and server/control system upgrades, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end automation upgrade projects, ensuring timely execution and quality standards are met.
  • Manage server, control system, and equipment deployments from initiation to completion.
  • Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), along with documentation and change control processes.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are delivered in compliance with GMP, GDP, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • As the Project Engineer, you will oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and multi-stakeholder communication to ensure successful project delivery.

Job description

We are currently looking for an Equipment Project Engineer - Automation to join a leading pharmaceutical company in Co Waterford on an initial 12 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced automation-focused engineer to contribute to critical equipment upgrades within a GMP environment.

In this position, you will be responsible for delivering multiphase automation and equipment upgrade projects across various platforms including Lyophilisation (Lyo), Clean-in-Place (CIP), Process Management System (PMS), Autoclave, and control systems. You will coordinate with OEMs, ITS, Automation, Validation, and Quality teams to ensure project execution is compliant, efficient, and meets all regulatory requirements.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
