Job summary

QCS Staffing is seeking an IT Project Manager for an Ireland-based, initial 2-year contract in the Life Sciences sector. You will lead discrete automation projects on site, manage budgets and vendors, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program delivery.

The role requires a Engineering or Computer Science degree, extensive pharma/manufacturing project experience, and PM certification (PMP or PRINCE2) is desirable. Strong leadership and scheduling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related discipline.
• PM certification desirable (PMP or PRINCE2).
• Experience managing multi-functional teams to meet project goals, including cost and schedule.

Our client is a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation, specialising in the development and manufacture of cutting-edge drugs. As they continue to grow, they’re seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support their dynamic team and drive forward groundbreaking projects in Ireland.

What You’ll Deliver

• Reporting to the Director for Automation, specifically responsible for Management of discrete capital projects encompassing Automation Systems on site.
• To manage all aspects of project delivery including budget, scope, vendor management and management of project team on site.
• To work closely with other disciplines on site and with above site teams to ensure successful delivery of the overall program.

What you’ll need:

• Degree in Engineering, computer science or a related discipline. An advanced degree would be advantageous.
• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, including experience in a similar role.
• Project Management certification would be desirable (e.g. PmP or PRINCE2)
• Experience managing multi-functional teams to meet project goals including managing cost and schedule.
