Job summary

Key Talent Solutions is seeking a Project Manager in Cork to lead major building projects across Cork and Munster. You will manage mobilisation through handover, coordinate subcontractors, and drive safety, quality and programme delivery on high-profile schemes.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with main-contractor projects in Ireland or the UK, excellent leadership of engineers and site teams, and a commercial mindset to manage budgets and risks within a safety-led environment.

A leading Irish building contractor is expanding its Cork operation and is looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of major building projects across Cork and Munster.

Current work includes a pharmaceutical project and a residential development, but strong candidates from commercial, healthcare, education, life sciences, data centres, mixed-use and other major construction backgrounds are equally welcome.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading projects from mobilisation through to handover
• Managing programmes, lookaheads and recovery plans
• Coordinating subcontractors, consultants and supply-chain partners
• Overseeing safety, quality, design and commercial workstreams
• Managing RFIs, technical queries, procurement and project risks
• Driving BCAR, handover and close-out standards
• Leading and developing site teams

What we’re looking for

• Main-contractor project management experience
• A strong record delivering major Irish or UK building projects
• Excellent programme and subcontractor management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and client-facing confidence
• Experience leading engineers, site managers, QSs and safety teams
• A construction, engineering or trade background
• The ability to work across Cork and Munster

Pharmaceutical or residential experience would be beneficial, but strong project-delivery experience matters more than one particular sector.
