GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction seeks an experienced Project Director to lead a European portfolio of data centre and complex facilities projects. You will oversee governance, quality and commercial delivery across multiple live sites while reporting to senior leadership.
Based in Dublin, you will spend 1–2 days a week on site across Europe, driving strategic growth, client relationships and project handovers with a collaborative senior team.
Our client is a specialist internal fit-out contractor with a focused offering in complex controlled environments. Their projects sit within some of the most demanding sectors in construction, including data centres, life sciences and advanced manufacturing, where tolerances are tight, compliance standards are exacting and the quality of the finished space directly affects how a facility performs.
With an established presence across Ireland, the UK and Europe, the business is regarded as a dependable specialist partner by main contractors and end clients. Their reputation has been built on technical know-how, strong site leadership and a consistent ability to deliver in fast-paced, high-specification settings.
Investment in data, pharmaceutical and high-tech facilities continues to drive a healthy pipeline, and the business is growing accordingly. This Project Director appointment is central to that growth, giving an experienced leader the chance to take ownership of a significant European portfolio and help shape the next stage of the company’s development.
In this role you will have overall responsibility for a portfolio of data centre and complex facilities projects across Europe, valued at circa €50M. Up to three regional Contracts Managers will report directly to you, with three to four projects typically running at once, and you will set the standard for programme, commercial and quality delivery across all of them.
The projects involve specialist internal packages delivered within live, highly regulated environments. Success depends on close coordination with main contractors, M&E specialists, design teams and end users, alongside disciplined subcontract management and a relentless focus on safety and sequencing.
You will be based in Dublin and spend 1-2 days per week on site, keeping you close to your teams and clients without the demands of a full-time travelling role. The leadership team is collaborative and decisive, and senior managers are trusted to run their portfolios with genuine autonomy.
This role offers a salary of €150,000, together with a benefits package in line with a senior leadership appointment. Beyond the package, it represents a long-term career platform: you will take on a portfolio-level leadership role within a specialist contractor operating in one of the fastest-growing areas of the market, with real influence over how its European work is delivered and expanded. For a Senior Contracts Manager ready to step up, or a Project Director looking for greater scope and ownership, this is an opportunity to play a defining role in a business’s next phase of growth.
