Job summary

DataX Connect is seeking a Project Director to lead the construction of major data center projects across the UK and Europe. You will oversee delivery from design through commissioning, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget and high-quality standards.

You will act as the client representative, building long-term partnerships with operators and clients. Travel across Europe will be required to manage critical milestones and maintain strong relationships at all levels.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering major construction projects.
• Experience as a client representative and building long-term partnerships.
• Experience managing £20m+ projects from design through commissioning.
• Excellent client-facing communication at all levels.
• HNC or higher in electrical engineering or building services.
• Existing data center industry relationships are desirable.

We’re seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the construction of data center projects across the UK and/or Europe. In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee the successful delivery of major data center construction projects and play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with operators and clients across Europe.

You’ll work closely with top-tier clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, making your client-facing skills essential. Your previous experience in managing large data center projects and working in a blue‑chip environment will set you up for success in this exciting and challenging role.
