Job summary

Wallace Myers International is recruiting a Project Manager to join its Dublin/Leinster team, overseeing complex projects across commercial, pharmaceutical, mission critical, residential and industrial sectors. You will manage scope, health and safety, design, technical, quality, programme and commercial objectives from planning through delivery.

The role requires a third level degree in Engineering, at least seven years post-qualification experience, and a proven track record leading large

• Degree in Engineering (third level) required.
• 7 years post-qualification experience.
• Proven Senior Project Manager with large refurbishment and fit-out projects.
• Experience with main building contractor preferred.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the project scope end to end, meeting H&S, design, technical, quality, programme and commercial objectives.
• Lead, manage and motivate the project team to drive a high-performance culture.
• Build collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Promote best practices and explore new methods to improve delivery.
• Carry out effective short- to medium-term project planning to mitigate risk and meet stakeholder expectations.

A leading Main Contractor with over 75 years behind it is expanding and is looking for a Project Manager to join its Dublin / Leinster team, with the chance to work across commercial, pharmaceutical, mission critical, residential and industrial projects.

The Role

You will be responsible for the management, coordination and execution of the full project scope, or an identified scope or package of works, delivering all site activities while meeting project objectives on health and safety, design, technical, quality, programme and commercial. Key responsibilities include:

• Delivery: running the project scope end to end, keeping H&S, design, technical, quality, programme and commercial objectives on track
• Team: leading, managing and motivating your team, driving a high-performance culture and developing people to their full potential
• Relationships: building collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and all other project stakeholders
• Continuous improvement: promoting best practice across your team and the wider project team, and exploring new methods, approaches and technologies to improve delivery
• Planning: carrying out effective short to medium term project planning to mitigate risk and deliver on stakeholder expectations

About You

• Third level degree in Engineering
• 7 years' post-qualification experience
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager running large projects, particularly refurbishment and fit-out
• Preferably have worked your way up through the ranks with a main building contractor
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
