Qualifications

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years delivering large-scale, complex construction projects.
• Proven track record managing multi-stakeholder projects with phased handovers.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, project controls and commercial management.
• Experience leading large site-based teams in Tier 1 or major contractor environments.

Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to take full responsibility for the delivery of a major flagship project in Dublin.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a construction professional with extensive experience managing large-scale, technically complex developments through all phases of delivery.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Contract Director, you will assume overall responsibility for a major construction project from pre-construction through to handover. You will lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage client relationships, oversee commercial and contractual matters, and ensure the successful delivery of the project to the highest standards of safety, quality and sustainability.

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role within a highly respected contractor renowned for delivering landmark projects and fostering long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the successful delivery of a large-scale construction project from inception through to completion.
• Acting as the principal point of contact for the client and key project stakeholders.
• Managing project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure programme, quality and commercial objectives are achieved.
• Ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety, environmental compliance and quality management across all site activities.
• Developing and implementing Project Execution Plans, contracting strategies, programmes and risk mitigation plans.
• Managing project budgets and contract administration in conjunction with commercial teams.
• Overseeing project programming and adjusting delivery strategies as required to meet client and operational requirements.
• Driving sustainability objectives throughout the project lifecycle, from design development through delivery.
• Providing leadership and direction to construction and project management teams.
• Coordinating design teams to ensure timely information flow and effective design management during construction.
• Managing relationships with statutory authorities, consultants and other key stakeholders.
• Implementing best-practice project controls, reporting processes and performance management systems.
• Supporting value engineering initiatives during pre-construction and delivery phases.

What you will bring

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience delivering large-scale, complex construction projects.
• Proven track record managing projects with phased handovers and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, project controls and commercial management.
• Experience managing large site-based teams in a Tier 1 or major contractor environment.
• Knowledge of Irish construction contracts, building regulations and certification requirements.
• Experience with precast frame construction would be advantageous.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to drive performance while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance.
