Job summary

Accpro in Galway seeks a Procurement Scientific & Technical Officer to support the digitisation and standardisation of procurement processes and documentation. You will develop clear, user-friendly guidance, enhance SharePoint resources and help improve procurement processes across the organisation.

This is a 6-month contract with a view to extend, onsite in Galway, with a salary of €40,000 per annum. You will create process maps, FAQs and training materials, coordinate with HR and stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Experience developing user-focused documentation (guides, FAQs, training materials).
• Experience creating process maps and governance-aligned content.
• Strong written communication and ability to translate complex policies into practical guidance.
• Knowledge of public sector procurement processes and governance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procurement guidance, process maps, FAQs and training materials for SharePoint.
• Support digitisation and standardisation of procurement documentation and processes.
• Organise and manage procurement content, document libraries and information architecture within SharePoint.
• Collaborate with Procurement, HR and stakeholders to improve procurement resources.
• Translate procurement policies into practical, user-friendly guidance for staff and managers.
• Maintain procurement content to ensure accuracy and alignment with governance standards.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and user experience.
• Promote best practice and accessible procurement information across the organisation.
