The candidate will develop and organise procurement resources, support digital transformation and work with stakeholders to standardise procedures across the organisation.
ACCPRO is currently recruiting a Procurement on behalf of a Galway-based organisation. This position will play an important role in improving and modernising procurement processes, with a particular focus on digitalisation, documentation and accessible internal guidance. 6-month contract with potential for extension | €40,000 per annum The Role: The successful candidate will help develop and organise procurement resources, improve internal processes and support the transition towards more standardised and digitally accessible procurement practices. The role will involve working closely with procurement teams and key stakeholders across the organisation.
Create and update procurement resources including process guides, FAQs, process flows and training documentation. Assist with the digital transformation and standardisation of procurement processes and associated documentation. Structure and maintain procurement information, document libraries and content within SharePoint. Work collaboratively with Procurement, HR and relevant internal stakeholders to develop and enhance procurement resources. Convert policies and procedures into straightforward, practical guidance that can be easily understood by employees and managers. Ensure procurement documentation remains accurate, current and compliant with relevant governance requirements. Contribute to initiatives aimed at streamlining procurement processes and improving the overall user experience. Help promote consistent procurement practices by ensuring relevant information is clearly presented and readily accessible throughout the organisation.
A third-level qualification in Business, Procurement, Information Management, Communications, Public Administration or a related area. Previous experience working with SharePoint, including the management of digital content, document libraries and information structures. Excellent written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, engaging guidance and training content. Experience creating process documentation, flowcharts, FAQs or similar user-focused materials. Understanding of public sector procurement, governance and compliance. Experience contributing to digitalisation, content management or process improvement projects. Ability to take complex policies, procedures or technical information and turn them into clear, practical guidance. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
