Job summary

• Carry out short- and medium-term planning reviews and identify risks with mitigations.
• Review methodologies and explore alternatives to improve delivery and efficiency.

An established and highly regarded construction contractor is seeking an experienced Planner to join its growing team in Dublin, working on exciting Data Centre projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional with strong project planning experience and a background working with main contractors on large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop contract and project programmer, including ongoing monthly progress reports.
• Monitor project progress, productivity trends, outputs and resource allocation.
• Manage all planning, scheduling and reporting requirements for tenders and live contracts.
• Work closely with project teams to support planning and program -related activities.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with project teams, subcontractors, supply chain partners and key stakeholders.
• Carry out short- and medium-term planning reviews, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate mitigation measures.
• Review and challenge construction methodologies, exploring alternative solutions to improve project delivery and efficiency.
• Provide clear, accurate and forward-looking program updates to support successful project outcomes.

Requirements

• Relevant third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a construction planning role.
• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling on Data Centre projects.
• Previous experience working with a main contractor/general contractor is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering residential, commercial, office or large-scale construction projects in Ireland or the UK would be advantageous.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and manage competing priorities.
