Job description

Project Planner

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Planner for a technical construction project based in Dublin. The successful Project Planner will have experience working on data centre, pharmaceutical, or technical industrial projects and has delivered projects within strict timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop project schedules that meet business needs and timelines using industry-specific scheduling software.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying areas of variance, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Prepare project status reports and present updates to team members and stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain project controls tools related to cost, schedule, and risk management.
  • The Project Planner will ensure compliance with project standards, procedures, and protocols.
  • Foster a positive and cohesive team environment, enhancing communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • The Project Planner will have 10+ years of relevant experience in delivering technical construction projects.
  • Extensive experience in schedule development, schedule risk analysis, cost estimating, and resource management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage project teams, stakeholders, and contractors.
  • Excellent working knowledge of scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with project controls concepts, processes, and tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
