Job summary

Lumen Search Ltd. is recruiting a Project Planner to support the delivery of large construction projects in Dublin. You’ll work closely with project and site teams to develop programmes, track progress and identify issues that could affect delivery.

This role requires at least four years’ planning experience, with a background in a main contractor or M&E contractor. Data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, large industrial or commercial projects are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience in construction planning.
• Experience with a main contractor or M&E contractor.
• Understanding of sequencing interfaces between building works and M&E installations.
• Proficiency in construction planning software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update project programmes for procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to agree milestones.
• Monitor progress and flag delays, risks and priorities.
• Prepare lookahead schedules and progress reports for teams and clients.
• Assess changes and help develop recovery plans.
• Coordinate CSA and MEP activities within the overall construction schedule.

This would suit someone with at least four years’ planning experience. A background with a main contractor or M&E contractor would be relevant, ideally on data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, large industrial projects or commercial developments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update project programmes covering procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Work with project managers and subcontractors to agree realistic sequences and milestones.
• Monitor progress against the programme and highlight delays, risks and upcoming priorities.
• Prepare lookahead schedules and clear progress reports for project teams and clients.
• Assess the impact of changes and help develop recovery plans where required.
• Coordinate CSA and MEP activities within the overall construction schedule.

Requirements

• At least four years’ experience in construction planning.
• Experience working with a main contractor or mechanical and electrical contractor.
• Ideally, project experience in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial or large commercial construction.
• A good understanding of construction sequencing and the interfaces between building works and M&E installations.
• Proficiency in construction planning software.
• The ability to communicate programme requirements clearly to site teams and senior stakeholders.

Package

• Salary of €75,000 to €90,000, depending on experience
