Job summary

Unipharmedtech in Dublin invites applications for a Pharmacy Technician at Hickeys Phibsboro. This is a 16-hour permanent role with store hours 9:00–22:00 Mon-Sat and 10:00–22:00 Sun.

You will join a small team including a Pharmacist and technicians to provide patient-focused dispensing. Responsibilities include accurate dispensing under supervision, stock control, blister packs, and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail required for accurate dispensing.
• Experience in dispensing medicines under supervision is valuable.
• Stock control and ordering medicines per store requirements.

Responsibilities

• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.

Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Phibsboro. This is a 16-hour permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. The team currently comprises a Store Manager, a Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 5 Technicians. This store has manageable items and services.

The responsibilities of the role

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.
