Job summary

Hickey's Pharmacy in Dundalk is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a 32-hour, four-day permanent contract. Our store operates 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays.

You will prepare and dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock levels, and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary. New-qualified technicians are welcome to apply; MC Lernons MPS experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Dundalk. This is a 32-hour (4-day) permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 7.30p.m. Monday to Saturday and 10a.m. to 6.30 p.m. on Sunday.

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 3 Technicians. This store has manageable items and services.
