Job summary

Allcare Loftus in Bunclody, Co. Wexford, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour, 5-day permanent position. You will join a small team and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Experienced candidates in a busy dispensary are preferred, with IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate advantageous. The store offers a friendly environment with opportunities for development and patient-focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage.
• McLernons MPS experience is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare Loftus, in Bunclody
This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position.
The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 2 Technicians.
This store has manageable items and services.
