Job summary

Uniphar in Tallaght is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join Hickeys in Fortunestown. The role is a 24-hour (3-day) permanent position with store hours 9am-7pm (Mon-Fri), 9am-6pm on Saturdays and closed Sundays.

You'll work under the supervision of a Pharmacist, preparing and dispensing medicines, managing stock, and handling blister packs. Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage; newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys in Fortunestown, Tallaght.

This is a 24-hour (3-day) permanent position with the store's opening hours operating between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 3 Technicians.
