Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy in Limerick City is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for the Allcare O'Malleys store. This is a 32-hour, 4-day position aligned to opening hours from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m.

to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, with Sunday closed. You will work with a small team in a busy dispensary, under the supervision of the Pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and patient care. Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous; newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.
• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare O'Malleys store in Limerick City. This is a 32-hour (4-day) specified purpose position with the store's opening hours operating between 8.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday.

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 3 Technicians.
