Job summary

Uniphar Group is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for the Allcare O'Malleys store in Limerick City. This 32-hour per week, four-day permanent position operates with store hours from 8.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on Saturdays, closed Sundays.

The role involves accurate preparation and dispensing of medicines under supervision, stock control, blister pack preparation, and claims processing, with opportunities for career development in a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage; newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare O'Malleys store in Limerick City.

This is a 32** -hour (4-day) permanent position with the store’s opening hours operating between 8.30 **** a.m. to7.30 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9.30a.m. to5.30 p.m. on Saturday and closed on Sunday.**

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 3 Technicians.
