Job summary

Uniphar Finglas area pharmacies are seeking a Relief Pharmacy Technician for a 40-hour, five-day permanent role. Mileage is reimbursed outside the base store.

You will prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist, maintain stock control, prepare blister packs and process claims, and report to the Pharmacist. Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.

• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is an advantage.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Relief Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Finglas Area Pharmacies.

This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position Mileage is reimbursed outside of the base store.

The responsibilities of the role

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.
