Job summary

Uniphar Group is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for our McCauley Bawnogue Pharmacy in Clondalkin. This is a 40-hour, 5-day permanent role with a supportive team and a focus on precise dispensing and stock control.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy dispensary and may hold an IPU or higher qualification. Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply, with benefits such as uniform and colleague discounts.

• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our McCauley Bawnogue Pharmacy in Clondalkin. This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position. The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support, 1 Relief, and 2 Technicians. This store has manageable items and services.

The responsibilities of the role

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
