Uniphar is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Hickeys Northside SC team in Dublin North. This is a permanent 8-hour position in-store, with competitive hourly rates and benefits such as a staff discount and bike-to-work scheme.

You will prepare and dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock and claims, and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary. New qualifiers are welcome, with experience in McLernons MPS a plus.

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous.
• Newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Northside SC, Dublin North. This is a 8-hour (1-day) permanent position. The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Support, 1 Relief, and 5 Technicians. This store has manageable items and services.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.
