Job summary

Uniphar in Tallaght is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a busy dispensary team. You will prepare and dispense medicines under supervision, manage stock and orders, and assist with blister packs and claims processing.

Newly qualified technicians are welcome; IPU course or Higher Certificate is an advantage, and McLernons MPS experience is a plus. A team-oriented environment with support from the Pharmacist is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate is advantageous.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail in dispensing.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as required by store requirements.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
