Job summary

Allcare Roches is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Gorey team. The role involves accurate dispensing under pharmacist supervision, stock control, blister pack preparation, and processing claims in a busy dispensary.

Experience in a dispensary is advantageous; newly qualified technicians are welcome. McLernons MPS familiarity and IPU Pharmacy Technician studies are advantageous. This is a 24-hour, 3-day specified purpose position with competitive hourly rates.

• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Allcare Roches store, in Gorey.

This is a 24-hour (3-day) Specified Purpose position.

The team currently comprises a Retail Store Manager, Managing Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 2 Technicians.

This store has manageable items and services.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage).
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage
