Job summary

Force Mullingar is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will work closely with the pharmacist to ensure high standards of patient and customer care while supporting daily operations.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in Ireland, and practical knowledge of PCRS claims and reimbursement procedures. A recognised Irish qualification is desirable, with excellent attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Our client, an established community pharmacy group is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Mullingar.

The Role

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with the pharmacist and wider pharmacy team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the pharmacy while delivering a high standard of patient and customer care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Supporting the pharmacist with the day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.
• Managing stock, processing orders and receiving deliveries.
• Ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing processes.
• Managing PCRS claims and reimbursement procedures.
• Ensuring compliance across relevant PCRS schemes.
• Providing excellent customer service and patient care.
• Working effectively as part of a busy pharmacy team.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in Ireland.
• Recognised Irish Pharmacy Technician qualification (desired).
• Previous experience with PCRS claims compliance and reimbursement procedures is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
