Job summary

Clarity Recruitment is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a pharmacy based in Thurles, Co. Tipperary. The role is permanent and full-time, with 4–5 working days per week and 1–2 Saturdays monthly on a rotational basis. Start ASAP, with flexibility for the right candidate.

You will assist the pharmacist, manage stock, prepare blister packs, process claims, and provide counter customer support in a busy Irish pharmacy. PSI standards apply.

Qualifications

• Previous dispensary experience is essential.
• Irish Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies or IPU Pharmacy Technician course.
• Ability to work 4 or 5 days per week with 1–2 Saturdays per month; no Sundays.
• Experience using the MPS dispensing system.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with dispensing and preparing prescriptions in line with PSI standards.
• Manage stock levels and order medicines as required by store.
• Prepare blister packs and process/track claims; provide customer support at the counter.
• Respond to queries at the counter and assist with pharmacy services.
• Support day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.

What you need to know:

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 4 or 5 days a week. 1–2 Saturdays per month are required on a rotational basis, with no Sundays, Bank Holidays, or late nightsoffering an excellent work-life balance. You'll join an excellent and very friendly support team, using the MPS dispensing system. Start date is ASAP, but the pharmacy is happy to wait for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the pharmacist with the dispensing and preparation of prescriptions in line with PSI standards.
• Managing stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.Providing customer support
• and responding to queries at the counter.
• Assisting with pharmacy services and day-to-day operations.
