Job summary

Uniphar Group is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team at McCauley Shamrock Plaza Pharmacy in Carlow. The role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, permanent and on-site within a busy dispensary.

You will prepare and dispense medicines under pharmacist supervision, manage stock, and support daily operations. New graduates are welcome, with relevant training advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage for this role.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our McCauley Shamrock Plaza Pharmacy, in Carlow.

This role is Monday to Friday every week.

This is a 40-hour (5-day) permanent position.

The team currently comprises a Managing Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 2 Technicians.

This store has manageable items and services.
