Job summary

McGreals Pharmacy Blessington is seeking a Pharmacy Technician who loves helping people and enjoys a busy, supportive team. If you’re great with patients, you’ll fit right in.

You will dispense prescriptions, manage the Monitored Dosing System, place orders with wholesalers, and submit monthly PCRS claims. IPU diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience with MPS system.
• Excellent communication with patients, doctors and staff.
• Professional, empathetic and respectful customer service.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Willing to travel to other locations occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prescription preparation and dispensing in a caring, professional manner.
• Prepare and dispense monitored dosing systems.
• Dispense and manage pharmacy orders from wholesalers.
• Prepare and submit the monthly PCRS claim.

What you will be doing:

• Prescription preparation – prepare & dispense prescriptions in a caring and professional manner.
• Monitored dosing system – prepare and dispense monitored dosing systems.
• Dispensary Ordering – to send and receive orders from wholesalers.
• Pharmacy Claim – to prepare & submit the monthly claim to PCRS.

You will shine in this role if you have:

• 1+ year experienceas a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience ofMPS system.
• Excellent communication skills as you will communicate with numerous different people every day, from patients to doctors and also the pharmacy team.
• Professional manner and treat all customers with care, empathy and respect.
• Positive attitude and very well presented.
• Be able to work as part of a team while also able to work on your own initiative.
• Don’t mind the occasional travel from time to time to one of our other locations.

Qualification:IPU diploma or equivalent.

Location:Main street, Blessington, Co Wicklow.

Days per week: 5 days a week (Between Monday and Saturday. Required to work every 2nd Saturday)

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time Role

Hourly Rate:€16 to €19 (DOE)
