Job summary

Uniphar is seeking a Relief Pharmacy Technician to join our team across multiple Dublin-area stores including Mounttown, Stillorgan, Dalkey, Merrion, Monkstown and Glasthule. This 40-hour, 5-day permanent position offers the chance to dispense medicines under pharmacist supervision and support a busy dispensary.

We value accuracy, attention to detail and reliability. Experience in a busy dispensary is helpful but newly qualified technicians are welcome; familiarity with McLernons MPS and

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is preferred, but newly qualified technicians are welcome.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
