Job summary

RECRUITERS in Clonmel, Ireland seeks an API Maintenance Planner to support maintenance and reliability at its pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The role covers planning, preventive and corrective scheduling, and ensuring safe and efficient plant activities.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations and contractors to manage workloads and improve equipment reliability, including the summer shutdown.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within industrial or pharmaceutical settings.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and estimate labour and materials.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance systems and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Support development and operation of the site's maintenance management system.
• Develop and maintain the preventive maintenance programme with job plans and frequencies.
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with multiple teams to manage backlogs.
• Review work requests for accurate information and classifications.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance and project activities for the annual shutdown.
• Coordinate external contractors and vendors for maintenance activities.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and report on compliance and performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and standardised procedures.
