Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own the maintenance business processes under the API Maintenance & Reliability Lead.
• Develop and implement the Maintenance System and the PPM program.
• Plan and schedule CM work orders; coordinate materials and contractor support.
• Review incoming work requests for data accuracy and CM backlog management.
• Develop KPIs for maintenance activities (PPM compliance, overdue PMs, schedule adherence).
• Plan the Annual Summer Shutdown activities and related contract work.

Requirements

Principal Accountabilities:

• Reporting to the API Maintenance & Reliability Leadwill have specific responsibility for the ownership and successful operation ofthe following M&I business processes.
  
• Under the direction to the API Maintenance &Reliability Lead assist in the overall development, implementation and day today operation of the Maintenance system.
  
• Development of the PPM system including writing job plansand developing maintenance frequencies. Liaises with the Maintenance &Reliability Engineer on implementation of the PdM program.
  
• Operation and execution of the PPM Change Control System.
  
• In conjunction with the API Maintenance Manager and APIOperations Scheduler / coordinating the Work Scheduling process to ensure sitespecific targets on PM & CM backlog management are achieved.
  
• May act as a second level 'Gatekeeper' after theOperations Gatekeeper to review incoming work requests ensuring data accuracy,correct work type and to manage CM Backlogs.
  
• Actively plans CM work orders by visiting job sites,booking/ordering materials, writing task lists, performing risk assessmentsetc.
  
• Works closely with contract providers to plan workrequests that require vendor
  
• assistant e.g. Mechanical & Electrical contractors.
  
• Works closely with the Maintenance & ReliabilityEngineer to develop and communicate relevant KPI's for the maintenance teame.g. PPM Compliance %, Overdue PM's, Schedule Adherence, MTBF, %PdM Executedetc.
  
• Planning, estimating, co-ordinating all aspects ofmaintenance and project activities associated with the Annual Summer Shutdown.
  
• Support the API Maintenance & Reliability Lead in thedevelopment of the equipment annual review and support the Maintenance &Reliability Engineer in the development of periodic OOT trend report.
  
• Support and assist the API Maintenance & ReliabilityLead to implement maintenance best practice methodologies/technologiesincluding LSS processes
  
• e.g. creation of standard work for routine maintenanceactivities.
  
• Liaise with Project Engineering and the Maintenance &Reliability Engineer on criticality assessments and developing new maintenancestrategies/plans for new assets.
  

Plant Annual Shutdown Planning process:

• Carries out all planning and scheduling for the AnnualSummer Shutdown.The Planner completes the following activities: -
  
• Schedules shutdown review meetings between alldepartmental and contract groups.
  
• Develops detailed work plans and schedules for alldepartmental and contract work activities.
  
• Procures material, tools and equipment for workactivities.
  
• Plans and schedules contract work groups.
  
• Co-ordinates and plans all interrelated departmental andcontract work activities.
  
• Co-ordinates and plans plant and equipment availabilitywith IPT Mechanical Coordinator and the Utilitiesco-ordinator.
  
• Compiles Maintenance shutdown report for inclusion insite report
