Job summary

Howden Ireland, based in Drogheda, is seeking a Personal Lines Account Executive on a permanent basis. You will manage policy renewals, retain clients and provide tailored insurance solutions while identifying new business opportunities to expand the client base.

Strong relationship management and negotiation skills are essential. You will work with the Personal Lines team to ensure client satisfaction, update market knowledge, and adhere to compliance procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years' experience in an insurance role.
• APA Personal Lines or Grandfathered with CPD up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty.
• Oversee the renewal process for personal lines policies and negotiate renewals.
• Evaluate clients' risk profiles and advise on suitable insurance products.
• Provide exceptional service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Achieve new business/renewal targets.
• Follow Compliance and office procedures including renewal and new business processes.
• Keep up-to-date with market practice, pricing, service levels and product development.
• Collaborate with other teams to promote operational efficiencies.
