Job summary

Sunbeam House Services in Wicklow invites applications for an experienced social care leader to take on the role of Person in Charge (PIC) for our Day Services. You will lead a skilled team to deliver person-centred supports for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, drive quality and continuous improvement, and build strong partnerships with families, advocates and multidisciplinary teams.

This is a meaningful leadership role with opportunities to shape outcomes and promote inclusion

Qualifications

• CORU registration (or eligibility required)
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• Commitment to person-centred, rights-based approaches
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Are you an experienced Social Care professional with a passion for leadership and person-centred services?

We are now seeking an exceptional Person in Charge (PIC) to lead our Day Services team in North Wicklow and help shape positive outcomes for the people we support every day.

About the Role

As Person in Charge, you will provide leadership, guidance and oversight to a vibrant day service supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.

You will play a key role in creating an environment where individuals are empowered to achieve their personal goals, develop independence, and participate fully in their communities.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team while driving quality, innovation, and person-centred practice.

• Previous experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
• A commitment to person-centred, rights-based approaches
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
