Job summary

Sunbeam House Services in Wicklow invites applications for an experienced social care leader to take on the role of Person in Charge (PIC) for our Day Services. You will lead a skilled team to deliver person-centred supports for adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, drive quality and continuous improvement, and build strong partnerships with families, advocates and multidisciplinary teams.

This is a meaningful leadership role with opportunities to shape outcomes and promote inclusion

Qualifications

CORU registration (or eligibility required)
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities and/or autism
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
Commitment to person-centred, rights-based approaches
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

Leading and developing a skilled and motivated staff team
Ensuring high-quality, person-centred supports and services
Building strong partnerships with families, advocates and multidisciplinary teams
Promoting the principles of New Directions and rights-based practice
Driving continuous improvement, quality assurance and compliance
Supporting staff development, wellbeing and performance
Creating opportunities that enable people to live fulfilling and meaningful lives
