Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is seeking a talented Person in Charge (PIC) to lead a residential service in Ireland. You will oversee operational management, governance, and quality of care, ensuring HIQA compliance while guiding a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

You will drive person-centred care, manage budgets and resources, and foster a culture of excellence. Relevant nursing qualification and minimum 3 years of managerial experience are required. Access to transport is preferred.

Cpl in partnership with our client, are seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Person in Charge (PIC) to lead a residential service.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader who is committed to delivering person-centred care and supporting individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives.

About the Role

As Person in Charge, you will have overall responsibility for the operational management, governance, and quality of care within the designated service. You will ensure compliance with HIQA standards and relevant legislation while leading and supporting a committed team of healthcare professionals.

The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective leadership and management of the service.
  • Ensure compliance with HIQA regulations, standards, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing teams and service delivery in a residential setting.
  • Full driving licence and access to own transport.
Desirable
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.
  • Qualification in management or leadership.
  • Proven track record in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
