Job summary

Phorest Software in Dublin is seeking an experienced HR generalist to enhance the employee experience across the lifecycle. You’ll coach managers, turn people data into insights for leaders, and support the compensation cycle while being mentored by a Strategic People Partner.

You’ll be in our Dublin office one day a week for onboarding and team connection, with flexi-time and remote options. This role blends people operations expertise with process improvement in a fast-growing SaaS business

Qualifications

• 4+ years in HR with generalist People Ops experience.
• HR qualification (CIPD or equivalent) or equivalent experience; knowledge of Irish employment law.
• Experience using an HRIS.
• Experience coaching managers and developing others.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills with data insight.
• Excellent judgement and proactive, organized work style.
• Comfortable working independently and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to person for employee queries and requests; resolve complex issues and provide self-service guidance.
• Own lifecycle admin and keep HiBob accurate: contracts, changes, letters, leave, onboarding/offboarding.
• Collaborate with payroll/Finance to prepare inputs each cycle and flag anomalies.
• Support compliance work including employment permits and Gender Pay Gap reporting.
• Partner with People Systems & Operations Analyst to automate routine tasks.
• Maintain knowledge base and process docs; keep them current and accessible.
• Lead continuous improvement projects across People Ops.
• Coach first-line managers on people topics and performance management.
• Share people data trends and insights to inform decisions.
• Support compensation cycle through coaching managers.
• Contribute to wider People Team initiatives and hiring processes.
