Job summary

Toast is seeking an EMEA People Operations Lead to deliver frontline shared services for the employee lifecycle in EMEA, with a focus on benefits, leave, and compensation. This role reports to the PeopleHub Manager and collaborates across global COEs.

The position is a 12‑month fixed term contract, hybrid with 2 days per week in the Dublin office. Fluency in English; French preferred; extensive experience in People Operations and HR transformations is required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English; French preferred for cross-border support.
• 8+ years experience in People Operations or Shared Services; or 6+ years with Master’s; or PhD with relevant experience.
• Experience operating in a matrixed organization and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
• Experience supporting HR transformations and lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frontline People Services (Shared Services) for the EMEA region across the employee lifecycle, including operations, benefits, leave administration, and compensation.
• Serve as escalation point for complex EMEA cases, resolving them accurately, compliantly, and with high service standards.
• Track and report metrics and SLAs to measure service quality and provide decision-making insights.
• Spot issues and propose fixes with autonomy to test and implement improvements.
• Drive continuous improvements focused on automation, standardization, and scalability to improve Toast’s employee experience.
• Build relationships with stakeholders across People, Legal, Finance, and Business teams to drive adoption of evolving service delivery models.
