Job summary

ICE Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our payroll team in Galway. You will deliver end-to-end payroll services for a portfolio of clients on weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles.

You will bring strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, Revenue requirements, and ROS processes, while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and client service excellence in a busy payroll bureau environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ payroll experience in a similar role.
• Desirable: experience in a payroll bureau or outsourced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Irish payroll legislation, PAYE, PRSI and Revenue.
• Practical ROS experience and electronic payment processes.
• Proficient with Excel and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of payrolls across weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles.
• Coordinate, review and validate payroll data from clients and resolve queries.
• Process payroll calculations including salaries, allowances, deductions and BIK.
• Handle starters, leavers and Revenue Payroll Notifications (RPNs).
• Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation for clients.
• Respond to client queries with clear guidance on obligations.
• Support junior team members and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Contribute to payroll system enhancements and testing as required.
