Job summary

Cpl Group's client in Ireland is seeking a Payroll Executive to join a busy payroll function. The role offers exposure to a fast-paced, collaborative environment and the opportunity to advance your payroll career.

You will manage a portfolio of clients, process and reconcile payrolls, and ensure compliance with PAYE, PRSI, USC, ROS and CSO returns. Proficiency with Megapay/Sage and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ payroll processing experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation (PAYE, PRSI, USC).
• IPASS qualification or accounting qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of payroll clients across varying pay frequencies.
• Process, reconcile, and deliver payroll reports to clients and third-party providers.
• Ensure compliance with statutory payroll obligations (PAYE, PRSI, USC).
• Prepare and submit ROS and CSO returns.
• Act as primary contact for payroll-related client queries and deliver excellent service.
• Support payroll reviews, backup processing and audits.
• Identify and implement payroll process improvements.
