Job summary

Synergy Security is hiring a Payroll Administrator to join our Cork finance team. The role is based in Mayfield, Cork, on-site, Monday to Friday, full-time.

You will manage and process payroll, ensure accurate time data, calculate taxes and deductions, and handle payroll reports and employee inquiries. Experience with PAYE/PRSI/USC and payroll software is essential, along with the ability to administer third-party deductions and final pay for leavers (P45).

Qualifications

• Finance & payroll experience required.
• Solid knowledge of PAYE/PRSI/USC and statutory deductions.
• Experience with payroll software and data entry controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process payroll.
• Ensure correct data entry of working time.
• Calculate taxes and deductions.
• Review payroll reports.
• Respond to employee inquiries.
• Manage and maintain payroll software.
• Complete all P30 (PAYE/PRSI/USC) returns.
• Administer third party deductions (healthcare, unions, pensions).
• Calculate final pay and issue P45s for leavers.
