Job summary

Synergy Security Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join the finance team at Mayfield, Cork. The role is office-based and full-time, reporting to the Finance Department.

You will manage payroll, ensure accurate time data entry, and handle tax/deduction calculations, payroll reports, and employee inquiries. Candidates should have finance and payroll experience, familiarity with payroll software, and solid PAYE/PRSI/USC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Finance & payroll experience required.
• Experience using finance software.
• Knowledge of PAYE/PRSI/USC essential.
• Ability to perform a full-time onsite role.
• Flexibility in working schedule.

Responsibilities

• Manage and process payroll.
• Ensure correct data entry of working time.
• Calculate taxes and deductions.
• Review payroll reports.
• Respond to employee inquiries.
• Manage and maintain payroll software.
• Ensure completion of all P30 (PAYE/PRSI/USC) returns.
• Administer third party deductions (e.g. health care, union subscriptions, pensions).
• Calculate final pay for employees leaving the company (issuing P45s).

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Role Type: Office Based - Full Time
