Job summary

Mastercard's Payments Network SRE team seeks a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to own end-to-end reliability of core infrastructure and services supporting payments platforms. You will focus on health, performance, monitoring, capacity, and incident response.

You will drive data‑driven improvements, build dashboards, automate detections, and guide cross‑functional teams toward resilient, scalable software while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in an SRE or related operations role
• Experience supporting e‑commerce, financial services or large‑scale SaaS
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem solving

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous assessments of infrastructure health, performance, monitoring and capacity
• Design dashboards and implement observability improvements
• Lead incident reviews and RCA processes
• Leverage automation and AI to improve proactive issue detection
• Coordinate with Product and Development on reliability through design and operation
