Job summary

Red Chair Recruitment seeks an experienced Parts Advisor for a busy machinery company in Killarney. You will handle picking, packing, and ordering parts, maintain a tidy warehouse, and interact daily with clients and suppliers. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Killarney.

Responsibilities include stock management, order processing, PO generation, and excellent customer service to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in parts, warehouse, machinery or a similar environment is desirable.
• Strong organisational and stock control skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and dispatching parts orders accurately and efficiently.
• Managing the day-to-day operation and organisation of the parts warehouse.
• Maintaining accurate stock records on the company system.
• Monitoring stock levels and reorder points to ensure availability of key parts.
• Raising purchase orders and liaising directly with suppliers.
• Receiving deliveries, checking goods against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
• Dealing directly with customers, suppliers and colleagues regarding parts enquiries and orders.
• Carrying out regular stock counts and investigating any stock discrepancies.
• Ensuring the warehouse is maintained to a high standard, with parts clearly labelled and easily accessible.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring orders are processed promptly and accurately.

You will be tasked with all aspects of picking, packing and ordering of parts, ensuring the warehouse is tidy and will also deal directly with clients and suppliers on a daily basis. This is a permanent, full-time position, based in Killarney.

• Full clean driving licence is essential.

Salary is in the region of €35,000-€40,000 depending on experience, higher with specific skills.
