Job summary

Keary’s Motor Group is seeking a Full Time Parts Advisor for the BMW Little Island site in Cork. You will handle front counter and workshop parts, build strong trade customer relationships, and ensure prompt, courteous service while following cash handling procedures.

Candidate should have prior parts advisory experience, a passion for cars, and strong communication via in-person, phone, and email. Driving license required; Kerridge knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an automotive parts advisor role or similar preferred.
A genuine interest in cars and the motor trade.
Communicate efficiently with customers in person, by telephone and email.
Be able to work to high standards and be highly motivated to learn.
A friendly, helpful attitude and a desire to deliver top-level customer service.
Previous experience with Kerridge would be advantageous but not essential.
Full, clean driving license.

Responsibilities

Serving Parts through both the front counter and workshop.
Maintaining and building relationships with trade customers.
Ensuring all customers are dealt with promptly and courteously.
Ensuring that the procedures for handling cash, cheques and accounts are fully adhered to.
Reporting any stock damage or stock losses to the Parts Manager.
Ensuring that the EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue) system is kept up to date and all current information available.
To assist in stock checks when required.
Maintain excellent relationships with all suppliers.
