Job summary

Henley Forklift Group Ltd in Galway is seeking a motivated Spare Parts Advisor to join our busy Spare Parts department. This full-time, hands-on role involves delivering excellent customer service, accurate stock handling, and precise administration to keep the operation running smoothly.

You will identify and source parts using our internal system, support frontline counter service, handle phone enquiries, and assist with stock control and documentation.

Qualifications

• Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good computer skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the Spare Parts department
• Identify and source parts using our internal system (full training provided)
• Assist customers at the front counter in a professional and helpful manner
• Handle telephone enquiries and accurately identify customer requirements
• Liaise with colleagues across different departments
• Receive deliveries and verify items for accuracy and quality
• Prepare and pack orders for dispatch
• Generate invoices, delivery notes, and other relevant documentation
• Assist with stock control, stock takes, and inventory management
• Maintain accurate records through data entry on internal systems
• Ensure the storeroom is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
