Job summary

Kearys Motor Group is seeking a Full Time Parts Advisor for our Belgard Road location in Dublin. You will handle parts at the counter and in the workshop, build relationships with trade customers, and ensure courteous, prompt service while following cash handling procedures.

Experience in automotive parts and a genuine interest in cars is essential. Strong communication, a friendly attitude, and a motivation to learn will help you succeed in a dynamic team environment and deliver top-quality

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an automotive parts advisor role or similar.
• A genuine interest in cars and the motor trade.
• Communicate efficiently with customers in person, by telephone and email.
• Be able to work to high standards and be highly motivated to learn.
• A friendly, helpful attitude and a desire to deliver top-level customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serving Parts through both the front counter and workshop.
• Maintaining and building relationships with trade customers.
• Ensuring all customers are dealt with promptly and courteously.
• Ensuring that the procedures for handling cash, cheques and accounts are fully adhered to.
• Reporting any stock damage or stock losses to the Parts Manager.
• Ensuring that the EPC (Electronic Parts Catalogue) system is kept up to date and all current information available.
• To assist in stock checks when required.
• Maintain excellent relationships with all suppliers.

Role Overview

• 2+ years of experience in an automotive parts advisor role or similar role.
  
• A genuine interest in cars and the motor trade.
• Communicate efficiently with customers in person, by telephone and email.
• Be able to work to high standards and be highly motivated to learn.
• A friendly, helpful attitude and a desire to deliver top-level customer service.
• Previous experience with Kerridge would be advantageous but not essential.
  
• Full, clean driving license.
